I seem to be doing fine so far.
It’s interesting. I can now clearly tell the difference between 1) real hunger and 2) just wanting to eat something delicious for the sheer pleasure of it.
There’s pretty much nothing delicious - in the conventional sense - that’s 100% raw. So, it turns out that I’m not that hungry most of the time. Very, very weird.
This is what I ate today:
It’s 9pm and I don’t feel much need to eat anything for nourishment. There’s a certain feeling of being full that is missing that could easily be remedied by a giant plate of Chicken Korma from Little India, but that’s not about hunger.
Incidentally, have lost 3.2 pounds in the first four days.
I’ve finished day two of attempt five at going 100% raw.
Woke up this morning, day two, and felt really groggy, almost like I’d taken an antihistamine. That hasn’t happened in a long time. Not sure if there is a connection or not.
At dinner time, I watched Oscar eat a grilled cheese sandwich and felt a little jealous.
But I really wasn’t that hungry. Had a carrot, about 15 almonds, and a bit of orange juice. Ate four plums mid afternoon. Had some dried mango and a few almonds in the morning.
